NERC unbundles TCN, establishes new system operator

APM terminals to invest over $500 million to upgrade Nigerian port
APM Terminals, Nigeria’s largest logistics terminal operator, announced plans to invest over $500 million in upgrading the country’s port facilities. APM said this investment is separate from the $600 million the company has already spent on equipment, including trucks, and container cranes, as well as advanced operational controls, digital interfaces, and employee training since 2006.

LASEPA seals 367 buildings over environmental law infractions
Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has revealed that 367 buildings were shut down for violating environmental issues that included noise pollution and improper effluent discharge across the state. Police arrest FIJ reporter Daniel Ojukwu
A journalist with the Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ), Daniel Ojukwu, has been arrested by the Police. FIJ in a report said Ojukwu was arrested by the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun. According to the report, the journalist is currently being held at the State Criminal Investigation
