Lalong bans vehicular movements into Plateau

Military identifies, sets ablaze 13 bandits’ homes in Zamfara

Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji in Zamfara State, have set ablaze a total of 13 houses belonging to suspected bandits terrorising the axis. The troops prosecuting the ongoing anti-banditry and kidnapping operation in the state, also killed nine of the criminal elements, after a fierce gun duel. The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has commended the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari to suspend loan repayments by small businesses as part of measures to cushion the effect of coronavirus on the people. Nigeria, others to earn $7.41bn from cocoa

N igeria and three other countries are expected to grab $7.41 billion or 70 per cent of the $10.59 billion cocoa output in this year. It was learnt that total cocoa beans output would reach 4.8 million tonnes this year as demand for chocolate, cocoa beverages, butter, paste and powder rises in the global market.
