Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, Nigeria’s leading integrated food business and agro-allied Group has said that its Q3 results for the year 2019/20 showed profit before tax increasing by 23 per cent to N3.7 billion in Q3, and by nine per cent to N12.3 billion YTD. BIS market committee seeks wider adoption of FX Global code

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Markets Committee has called for more participants in the foreign exchange (FX) market to adopt the FX Global Code. Launched in 2017, the Code is a set of good market practices for the global FX market, with its turnover of more than $6.6 trillion a day. AfDB: Africa’s economy to rise to 3.9% in 2020

The African Development Bank (AfDB)  has projected economic growth to rise from 3.4 per cent in 2019 to 3.9 per cent in 2020 and 4.1 per cent in 2021. The AfDB President, Dr Akinwumi Adesina, disclosed this during a public presentation of African Economic Outlook 2020 in Abidjan on Thursday.
