One trapped as uncompleted building collapses in Lagos

One person is feared trapped beneath the rubble of a building which collapsed Friday morning in the Ago Palace Way area of Lagos State. According to the Director General of the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osayintolu, the building that went down was a three-storey structure approaching completion. Foreign investors cut their participation in Nigerian government bond auctions last year, buying just 4.39% of all bonds issued compared with the previous year when they bought 10.99%, a debt office presentation showed.
