There seems to be no respite in sight as residents and motorists continued to lament their plights following standstill traffic situation on the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, occasioned by a high influx of trucks and articulated vehicles in the axis.
As a result of the gridlock, traffic robbers have seized the opportunity to return to their nefarious activities as they rob motorists and commuters of their valuables.

Atiku condemns critics, defends Buhari’s economic diplomacy

Gov. Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi has condemned critics of the ongoing efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari to attract more foreign investments into the country.
The governor, who made his position known when he fielded questions from Newsmen in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, said the president should rather be commended for his untiring efforts to boost the nation’s economy through massive influx of foreign capital.

Ado Poly bans Student Union Government

The Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, has been shut on the orders of the authorities of the institution.
The Students’ Union Government (SUG) has also been banned by management, with immediate effect.
The actions followed the violent protest staged on Friday by the students over alleged meddling of management in the affairs of the SUG, including alleged attempts to install its stooges as leaders of the students’ body during its election held on Thursday.
