Akeredolu hail Supreme Court Verdict

The governor of Ondo State, Rotimi  Akeredolu yesterday hailed the verdict of the Supreme Court which upheld the election of President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to the governor, “the real victory of the legal process belongs to Democracy.
This was contained in a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant to the Governor On Media and Publicity Ojo Oyewamide

Police quiz 6 persons at Force HQ on the attack of Oshiomhole’s house

Following the complaint by the National Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole that his house in Benin was attacked by suspected loyalists to the incumbent administration in Edo state, the Police on Wednesday commenced interrogation of six persons believed to have a hand in the attack.
Vanguard observed that the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mr. Phillip Shuaibu arrived Force headquarters, Abuja at about 3.25 pm in company of several persons and headed to the office of the IGP Monitoring Unit where the allegedly fingered persons were asked to follow the IPO (Investigating Police Officer) for interrogation.

Zambia’s police ban miniskirt uniform for policewomen

Zambia’s Police assistant director for legal and professional standards, Charity Chanda announced the country’s policewomen are to henceforth restrict from wearing miniskirts to maintain professional standards.
Mrs Chanda noted there’s a prescribed length for women’s attire.
She stated this in an event where the country’s Police Service Commission chairperson Peter Chingaipe addressed officers in the protective unit.
