FG Considers Resettlement Cities For 3.2m Nigerian Refugees

Abuja – The National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons has placed the statistics of refugees in Nigeria at over 3.2 million people. This is as it has begun the construction of five resettlement cities for use by displaced persons in the country. The commission said about 84, 803 persons are duly registered

FAAN Shuts Lagos Airport Runway Till Sept. To Fix Air Field Lighting

Lagos – The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has said the 18L/36R runway of the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos, would be shut from Friday till September 5, 2022. FAAN said the closure of the runway would enable it to install the air field lighting (AFL), which has been down for over a decade.
