Rudeboy, who was one of the artistes to perform at the last Ovation ‘Carol Night’ last Sunday, found it difficult to motivate an already excited crowd to dance. Before he came on stage to perform, several artistes had performed and moved the crowd to excitement; however, when Rudeboy performed, the crowd went to their seats and obviously didn’t enjoy his performance.

Oyo police warn against use of fireworks, street carnivals
The Oyo State Police Command has warned members of the public against the use of fireworks and holding of unauthorised street carnivals during the Yuletide.
The state Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu, gave the warning on Friday while addressing newsmen on the efforts being put together by the command to combat crime, particularly during the festive period.
Olukolu warned criminals to steer off the state, saying the long arm of the law would surely catch up with them.

FG pledges commitment to revitalising existing agricultural policies
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr Sabo Nanono, has pledged to revitalise existing agricultural policies toward realising the goal of diversifying Nigeria’s economy, using agriculture as a driving force.
Nanono, in a statement by the Director Information, Mr Theodore Ogaziechi, said that the value chain approach to repositioning the sector through implementing policy instruments for enterprise development across successive stages of the commodity value chains was commendable.
According to the statement, the minister made this known while commissioning the Centre for Dryland Agriculture Farm (CDA), and Agri-Business Incubation Centre in Bayero University, Kano(BUK).
